Davinci Copters dual brushless gimbal to use a FLIR Tau 336 and a GoPro Hero 3 at the same time.

  • Laminated carbon fiber
  • 2-axis gimbal with brushless motors
  • 32bit AlexMos gimbal controller
  • Suitable for FLIR Tau 336 with 9mm lens and a Hero 3
  • Image source can be switched using the iOSD Mark II
  • System weight including both cameras approx. 400g
  • Flying time on a ScaraBot X8 approx. 40 mins

This hand-laminated carbon fiber 2-axis brushless gimbal has a built-in AlexMos 32bit controller and it can carry a FLIR Tau 336 with 9mm lens and a GoPro Hero 3/ 3+ at the same time. Both video signals are looped into the iOSD, so you can easily switch between the two cameras. The gimbal is mounted to the ScaraBot with the same quick assembly system like the BLG600.

A FLIR module plug is integrated in the gimbal, which makes it very easy to install a FLIR Tau 336. The lens simply has to be inserted in the front plate and secured with a special lens screw. The GoPro lens must be put through the front place as well and is secured with custom brackets. The GoPro camera lens should be replaced with the 60° lens to have the same field of view like the FLIR camera.

The live image is set up automatically and both cameras are supplied with power. The GoPro camera should already be precharged.
