Possibilities and framework conditions of STS-01
The STS is a standardized operation described in Annex 1 of Regulation (EU) 2019/947 and is valid within the EU Member States.
Within the framework of STS operations, an operator is not obliged to apply for an operating license in order to carry out the operation. Before the first flight, the operation must only be notified or declared to the competent authority.
General conditions are defined for the STS-01, which must be observed by the operator. For example, flights may be carried out within densely populated areas (e.g. city centers). It is only necessary to ensure that no uninvolved persons are present within the operating area, including the ground risk buffer. According to EASA, this does not include people in vehicles or trains. The maximum flight altitude is 120 meters. The following graphic illustrates the possibilities.

Dronavia - Kronos parachute system for DJI Inspire 3
The Kronos I3 Plug & Play parachute rescue system for the DJI Inspire 3 makes your flights safer by slowing down the descent rate and impact energy of your drone in the event of a problem. The parachute can be deployed automatically or manually with the click remote control.

C5 Class & MOC M2
The C5 accessory kit (PRS & FTS) allows the operator to switch directly from the original C3 class to the EASA C5 class. The parachute also complies with the EASA published MoC Light-UAS.2512 (M2). Dronavia is proud to introduce its new POD system integrated into the Kronos parachute rescue systems. After parachute deployment, the operator simply unscrews the old POD and then screws a new POD onto the parachute system. This simplified re-installation process ensures that the operator can safely take off again in just a few minutes without jeopardizing their flight missions.

To shorten the deployment time and increase the probability of avoiding an accident, Kronos parachute systems are equipped with autonomous deployment technology. This module deploys the parachute in less than 0.27 seconds, compared to about 3 seconds for a human deployment. Stay one step ahead and concentrate fully on your flight missions.

Thanks to its connection with the drone, the Kronos Inspire 3 parachute has unlimited autonomy, allowing it to perform even the longest flight missions. Flight abort system

Our new KRONOS plug-and-play flight termination system has been developed to allow remote pilots to concentrate on their flight missions. The system can be installed in less than 2 minutes and is mounted between the batteries and the drone. Thanks to MOC M2511 compliance, you can fly with the best risk management and safety measures during your missions.
